SENSORY MANIFESTATIONS
. . . of mental experiences.   In the trance state they are automatic experiences of sensation associated with the processing of suggestions.   When one has the normal range of sensation and a Kinesthetic Memory for what the experience of the sensation was is the basis of the ideosensory response.

Describing in great detail, the various sensory components assocciated with an experience, allows the patient to re-experience those sensations to a degree that is determined by the amount and type of past personal experience with it, and the degree of kinesthetic awareness that the person has generally.

The following are examples:

Direct Suggestion

"....... As you continue to relax, you can begin to feel some comfortable heaviness in your arms and hands.   Allow yourself to feel the tingling in your fingers! ......."

Indirect Suggestion

"....... I wonder if you can recall how good it felt to step out of that hot sulfur spring at the base of the mountain, and watch the snow melt as it made contact with your steaming wet body! ......."
