« My Nïghght »
It was for me, after all, the first time I had ever spoken with Thunder about such matters: . . . The Sacred Planets, The Solar Logos, or The Devas! But as he explained the order of things, it all seemed to make sense. His view of the Universe was much the same as my own, only his was embellished a great deal more with motion. Our entire universe is engaged in endless motion and activity, he'd say; . . . in a continually Entrancing Dance of energy. All things are aggregations of atoms that Dance, and by their movements, they produce sound. When the rhythm of the Dance changes, the sound it produces also changes. Each atom perpetually sings its song, and those sounds, at every given moment, create dense and subtle forms!
That's how it all started in his eyes!A THOUGHT! Formless at first, that moved through infinite darkness.
As it moved, it became more focused and began to take form. At first only a point, without depth or substance. But as it continued to move through the darkness, sound followed, echoing all the places it had been. Pointing directly to it in a straight line. But Thought never stopped moving, always traveling in the darkness to spaces unknown.GOD is darkness to the soul, in that the Divine is essentially other than the human.![]()
" Thought has no meaning as an isolated entity," he said. "It can only be understood as it interacts with some prepared question, and thus becomes the subsequent answer or message. Until thought is linked with purpose, there is no intelligent accomplishment! " Its significance is the consequence of a typical quantum effect connected with the dual wave/particle aspect of all matters of fact; a feature of the subatomic world which has no macroscopic analogue. Whenever Thought is confined to a small region of space it reacts to its confinement by moving around, and the smaller the region of confinement, the faster Thought moves around within it.
There are always two forces warring against each other deep within the atom.
On the one hand, the electrons are bound to the nucleus by electric forces which try to bring them as close together as possible. On the other hand, the electrons respond to their confinement by whirling around and the tighter they are bound to the nucleus, the higher their velocity will be; in fact, the confinement of electrons in the atom results in enormous velocities of almost 600 miles per second! These high velocities make an atom appear as a rigid sphere. It is very difficult to compress atoms any further and thus they give matter its familiar solid aspect. Nucleons, those particles confined to dimensions the size of the nuclei of atoms, often move so fast that their speed comes close to the speed of light.
"And so too it was with Thought. As it moved through the darkness of space, Sound came closer and closer. Thought found itself repulsed yet linked with Sound for some unknown purpose ! "
The relativity theory showed that mass has nothing to do with any substance, but is a form of energy. When two particles collide with high enough energy, they generally break into pieces, but the pieces are not smaller than the original particles. The particles are seen as dynamic patterns, or processes, which involves a certain amount of energy appearing to us as their mass. All particles can be transmuted into other particles.
The whole universe appears as a dynamic web of inseparable energy patterns. The forces between the particles - that is, their mutual attraction or repulsion - are pictured as the exchange of other particles. It is a consequence of the four dimensional space-time character of the subatomic world. The fact that particles interact through forces which manifest themselves as the exchange of other particles, is another reason why the subatomic world can not be decomposed into constituent parts.
"And so too it was with Thought. The closer Sound came, the faster Thought moved, until Thought became Illuminated !
. . . And So Began The Day ! "
