Somatic Sensory  Memory:

PROCEDURAL MEMORY is another term for this type of memory!

Learning physical skills tends to involve conditioning of the muscles, and also establishing a sense of timing.   This form of memory involves the nonverbal language of the workings of the body.

In a skilled habit - There is a mimimun of consciousness involved, even though there is some conscious activity going on as the demands of the feedback are reacted to in the skilled act.
Ideodynamic Responses are based upon this type of stored information.   Examples of this form of memory are, unconsciously walking or dancing, riding a bicycle or driving your car, or playing the piano.

Kinesthetic memory is frequently responsible for Déjà Vu, the sense of having already experienced something.   The Frontal lobe is responsible for the recognition of both spatial and object information!
